Building a twin neck guitar - Part 7: Painting 1

Well here we go.

I started painting the guitar. I've decided to do the whole neck the same colour. I was going to keep the necks a natural colour but  love the colour so much I think I'll do the whole thing a solid colour!

Masked off the head-stocks so that only the front facing areas are painted (That was the original plan anyway :0) )

Primed and ready for painting.

Look at that colour!

Did I mention that I'm LOVING the colour. Decided to do the whole neck now, so I'll need to prime and even out the colour, but it'll be worth the work.

This is one of the reasons that I'm going to colour it all. The way I've shaped the top makes it hard to colour it in a way that I'm happy with.

Here's the body, all primed and ready for colouring.

Now I just need to find the time alone in the house to paint the body and the necks. I'm going to fix the wiring cavities first and fix the primer around those parts then get going :)
